The role involves building new ways to understand and connect players through machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities include completing projects from start to finish, which encompasses requirements gathering, experimentation, model development, deployment, monitoring, documentation, support, and communication.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in applied Data Science or Machine Learning.
A strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods, including Classical ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Anomaly Detection, is required.
Applicants should understand machine learning and statistical concepts such as experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and clustering.
Experience in building and deploying complex and scalable machine learning models in production environments, ideally using Kubernetes, is necessary.
Proficiency in writing clean, efficient code in Python, Java, or Scala is essential.
Candidates must have experience writing optimized SQL queries to build and analyze datasets.
Some exposure to a modern Cloud Platform, preferably GCP, is required.
Familiarity with Big Data Processing Tools and Formats, such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Spark/Beam, Parquet, and Iceberg, is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a desire to understand the data being used are essential, along with the ability to explain the built solutions.
An eagerness to learn new skills and a willingness to step out of comfort zones are important traits.
