Description:
Artera is an AI startup focused on developing medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients.
The company aims to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of machine learning scientists and engineers to create AI-based biomarkers for cancer therapy personalization.
Your responsibilities will include designing multi-modal computer vision and machine/deep learning models using digital imagery and clinical data to prognosticate patient outcomes and predict therapy responses.
You will lead the technical effort in developing novel biomarkers alongside fellow ML scientists, engineers, biostatisticians, and scientific directors.
The role involves designing and developing innovative computer vision models that predict patient outcomes and responses to therapy.
You will assist in the productionalization, launch, and monitoring of machine learning products.
Research and development of machine learning algorithms to expand product capabilities will be part of your duties.
You will contribute to and drive publications in scientific journals and machine learning conferences.
Mentoring and helping to grow a team of machine learning scientists and engineers will also be expected.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of industry experience using PyTorch is required.
At least 2 years of experience as a technical lead is necessary.
Candidates must have experience launching and maintaining products in a production environment.
Strong communication skills are essential, particularly in conveying technical (ML) details to a cross-functional team of non-technical collaborators.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $200,000 a year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
