Description:

• Pinterest is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer II to build cutting-edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize the platform.
• The role involves partnering closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve ML models for various product surfaces, including Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.
• The engineer will utilize data-driven methods and leverage the unique properties of Pinterest's data to enhance candidate retrieval.
• The position requires working in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches.
• Keeping up with industry trends in recommendation systems is essential.
• Telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline is required.
• The candidate must have two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
• Special skills required include proficiency in Python, Spark, Hadoop, recommender systems, natural language processing, information retrieval, deep learning, building data processing pipelines, and large-scale machine learning systems.
• Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $209,000.00 - $253,692.00 per annum.
• The position is also eligible for equity.
• Final salary is based on various factors, including location, travel, relevant prior experience, and particular skills and expertise.
