Description:
The position is for a Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) based in Berlin or Hamburg, with the option to work 100% remotely within the EU.
The role involves productionizing machine-learning models, implementing services, and enhancing the data science infrastructure.
The engineer will collaborate with Product Managers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and other Machine Learning Engineers to improve pricing decisions.
Daily tasks include designing and developing high-performance, data-driven systems, working with large data sets, exposing machine learning models via APIs, and optimizing solutions for critical business problems.
The engineer will also enhance the Data Science Software infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in testing and production environments.
The role emphasizes championing best practices and fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in training, deploying, serving, and monitoring Statistical/Machine Learning models on large-scale datasets in production.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams are essential.
Experience with data manipulation and machine learning libraries is required.
Candidates should have experience developing and maintaining microservices in a production environment.
Proficiency in English is necessary, as it is the primary language of communication within the team.
A passion for data science and a desire to contribute to the future of urban transportation are important.
