Description:

• Reddit is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Notifications Relevance team, which focuses on delivering the right content to users through various channels.
• The team processes hundreds of millions of posts and user activities to provide personalized recommendations for tens of millions of users.
• The role involves owning projects from ideation to production and working with a diverse, cross-functional team to create user-friendly experiences.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to enhance recommendation systems, training and deploying machine learning models, and participating in the full software development cycle.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on, post-grad, non-internship professional experience with data-intensive systems and production-quality software, preferably in Python or Golang.
• A solid theoretical knowledge of Machine Learning and Statistical concepts, including feature engineering, model training, and evaluation, is required.
• Experience with at least one of the following frameworks: Tensorflow, Keras, or PyTorch is necessary.
• Proficiency in SQL and the ability to extract insights from data is essential.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Flink, and KSQL is a plus.
• Candidates should be passionate about building delightful products for users and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in RecSys, Ranking, or Deep Learning is considered a significant advantage.
