The Machine Learning Engineer (The Model Innovator) position is a full-time role based in Toronto, CA, focused on solving complex problems using advanced machine learning techniques.
The role involves transforming raw data into intelligent systems capable of making predictions, automating processes, and providing deep insights.
Responsibilities include designing and developing machine learning models using various algorithms, model training and hyperparameter tuning, data processing and feature engineering, deploying models into production, monitoring and improving model performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying current with AI and machine learning trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, and experience with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala is required, along with experience in writing production-level code.
Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature selection, and engineering is essential, as well as experience deploying machine learning models into production using cloud platforms and containerization tools.
Excellent collaboration skills are necessary to work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in machine learning engineering being highly valued.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a proven track record of building and deploying models in production environments and working with large datasets.
