Description:

The AI figure generation team at BioRender aims to save scientists time by providing tools for faster figure creation in the core illustrator of the application.
As a Machine Learning Engineer/Applied Scientist, you will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop ML and AI systems for creating beautiful and effective figures.
Responsibilities include designing and executing AI/ML initiatives, optimizing figure generation models, prototyping and productionizing ML models, evaluating system performance, and influencing ML infrastructure.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, communicate requirements, and propose recommendations to maximize business impact.

Requirements:

Extensive industry experience in ML engineering with expertise in areas such as Object Detection, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Transfer Learning, and Generative Models.
Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, as well as experience with distributed model training and custom model architectures.
Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
Ability to operationalize, monitor, and scale ML models in cloud ecosystems.
Previous experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in an agile environment.
