The role is for an ML Infrastructure Engineer within the Applied Machine Learning team, focusing on developing and maintaining tools and infrastructure for Data Scientists and Research Engineers.
Responsibilities include overseeing internal machine learning libraries, collaborating with Data Scientists to integrate machine learning tools, managing AWS infrastructure, and designing end-to-end pipelines for model training and evaluation.
The position requires working with various datasets, enabling parallelized experiments, and maintaining dataset management tools.
The engineer will also incorporate experiment tracking systems and ensure enterprise-grade model building processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Extensive experience in building and managing machine learning infrastructure and tooling is necessary.
Deep knowledge of MLOps best practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and scaling, is essential.
Strong proficiency in AWS, particularly with services like EC2, Sagemaker, and Batch, is required.
Expertise in software engineering, including proficiency in Python and other programming languages used in machine learning, is needed.
Excellent understanding of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, CUDA, Triton, and TensorFlow is required.
Experience with data management and pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Kubeflow is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are required.
