• The role is for an ML Infrastructure Engineer within the Applied Machine Learning team, focusing on developing and maintaining tools and infrastructure for Data Scientists and Research Engineers.
• Responsibilities include overseeing internal machine learning libraries, collaborating with Data Scientists to integrate machine learning tools, managing AWS infrastructure, and designing end-to-end pipelines for model training and evaluation.
• The position requires working with various datasets, enabling parallelized experiments, and maintaining dataset management tools.
• The engineer will also incorporate experiment tracking systems and ensure enterprise-grade model building processes.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Extensive experience in building and managing machine learning infrastructure and tooling is necessary.
• Deep knowledge of MLOps best practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and scaling, is essential.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, particularly with services like EC2, Sagemaker, and Batch, is required.
• Expertise in software engineering, including proficiency in Python and other programming languages used in machine learning, is needed.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, CUDA, Triton, and TensorFlow is required.
• Experience with data management and pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or Kubeflow is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are required.
