Description:

This is a part-time remote internship role, requiring 20 hours of work per week from June to August 2025.
The position is with PhotoShelter, a fast-growing SaaS company specializing in digital asset management and content distribution solutions for creative teams.
As a Machine Learning intern, you will work alongside the PhotoShelter AI team on innovative projects that leverage machine learning to solve complex problems.
Key responsibilities include cleaning, preprocessing, and analyzing datasets to prepare them for modeling and analysis.
You will collaborate with senior ML engineers to design, build, and train machine learning models using tools such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Conducting experiments to optimize model performance and refining approaches based on project requirements is also part of the role.
You will document your work, share insights, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The role emphasizes continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning.

Requirements:

Candidates must be currently pursuing a degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is necessary.
A basic understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and deep learning is required.
Nice to have: a passion for sports or photography, experience with version control systems like Git, prior coursework or projects involving machine learning, data analysis, or AI, and familiarity with AWS.

The pay range for this internship is $15.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on skill level, experience, and work location.
