Remote Machine Learning intern- Nigeria

Description:

• Branch is seeking a Machine Learning engineering intern to join their team in Nigeria for a temporary position lasting 4-6 months.
• The intern will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute significantly to the products and code base.
• Responsibilities include building functionality for existing and new product lines such as credit, customer success, and fraud.
• The intern will also integrate and work with various third-party systems, including Taktile, credit bureaus, and AWS.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have experience building ML applications that are not just toy projects; real user applications or open-source projects are a plus.
• A solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, ML systems, and data storage is required.
• Familiarity with various flavors of Unix and commonly used command line utilities is necessary.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language such as Python, Ruby, or Java is essential.
• Candidates should be highly entrepreneurial, taking the initiative to solve problems proactively and contributing to projects they are passionate about.
