Description:
The Machine Learning (ML) Engineer II at Equip will be responsible for designing, building, evaluating, productizing, and refining data-driven products and insights using ML and AI solutions.
They will implement ML/AI models to solve complex projects and create a positive impact across all business domains, including Product, Clinical Operations, Commercial, and more.
The role involves collaborating with a diverse group of data scientists, analysts, engineers, and product managers to work on exciting projects and contribute to the growth of Equip.
Responsibilities include designing and building end-to-end ML and AI pipelines, developing tools to enhance user experience and increase operational efficiency, monitoring and optimizing models, and researching advancements in ML/AI.
The position is fully remote with no travel requirements.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or another quantitative field is required.
2+ years of experience developing, training, evaluating, testing, deploying, monitoring, and iterating on production-level models and ML/AI pipelines at scale is necessary.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, mathematics, statistics, and experience with large language models applied to unstructured text-based data.
Proficiency in Python, Python-based ML frameworks, SQL, Git/GitHub, and the ability to write clear, maintainable, and testable code.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams, be organized, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation.
