Remote Machine Learning Ops Engineer

Description:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models into production, managing their lifecycle needs such as version control, retraining, and eventual retirement.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to build robust ML pipelines and product integrations.
• Optimize and improve existing machine learning models and infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in a machine learning role, focusing on unstructured and semi-structured data like financial documents.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch) and experience serving models developed in those frameworks in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, along with experience in cloud-based model serving.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical results to senior leaders and nontechnical audiences.
• Highly proficient in Python.
