Description:

Ninety is seeking a Principal Engineer for Machine Learning to lead product development and report to an Engineering Lead.
The role involves shaping the architecture and long-term vision of the machine learning discipline.
Responsibilities include defining technical strategy, leading the design of generative AI models, and collaborating with senior leadership to align initiatives with business goals.
The Principal Engineer will mentor engineering teams, implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, and maintain scalable infrastructure for model training and inference.
The position requires staying updated on emerging technologies and researching new algorithms to enhance model performance.
Success in this role is measured by delivering market-aligned outcomes and developing AI-driven features within the Ninety product.

Requirements:

A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in machine learning, particularly in generative AI.
Deep expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems is essential.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction are required.
Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and cloud platforms is necessary.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking are expected.
A proven track record of designing and deploying high-performing machine learning models is required.
Expertise in MLOps, including experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Scikit-learn are required.
