Remote Magento Tech Lead

Description:

• McFadyen Digital is seeking a Magento Tech Lead to join their team, responsible for writing and maintaining Magento EE/Cloud modules, proposing Magento solutions, and conducting technical analysis of requirements.
• The Tech Lead will train and mentor subordinate developers, actively participate in pre-sales activities, review business requirements, and produce detailed technical designs.
• Additional responsibilities include writing clean, modular code, collaborating with QA and Customer Support teams, contributing ideas for application improvement, and creating reusable components.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Magento System Architecture, experience leading technical teams, proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Agile methodologies.
• Desired qualifications include UI/UX integration experience, customization of Magento themes, module creation, plugin development, and familiarity with Zend framework.
• Full Stack skills, W3C compliant HTML/CSS knowledge, experience in responsive web applications, and proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and MVC frameworks are also required.
• The Tech Lead should have the ability to guide the team in technical perspectives, mentor design and development initiatives, and understand build tools like web pack, grunt, gulp.
• Exposure to marketplace platforms like Mirakl and experience in PWA are considered a plus.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Magento System Architecture, Design, Theming, Functionality Enhancements, Configuration.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Proficiency in PHP and Magento with an emphasis on Object Orientated Programming.
• Strong experience with MYSQL DB and Agile methodologies.
• UI/UX integration experience, customization of Magento themes, module creation, and plugin development.
• Knowledge of Zend framework, Full Stack skills, and W3C compliant HTML/CSS.
• Experience in responsive web applications, JavaScript, jQuery, and MVC frameworks.
• Ability to guide the team in technical perspectives, mentor design and development initiatives, and understand build tools.
• Exposure to Mirakl or other marketplace platforms and experience in PWA are a plus.
