Description:

McFadyen Digital is seeking a Magento Tech Lead to join their team remotely.
The Tech Lead will be responsible for writing and maintaining Magento EE/Cloud modules, proposing Magento solutions, and conducting technical analysis of requirements.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing business requirements, producing detailed technical designs, writing clean code, and contributing ideas for application improvement.
The Tech Lead will also be involved in pre-sales activities, training developers, and researching new integration capabilities.
Qualifications include a strong understanding of Magento System Architecture, experience leading technical teams, proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Agile methodologies.
Desired skills include UI/UX integration, Magento theme customization, module creation, plugin development, and knowledge of Zend framework.
Full Stack skills, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC framework, SEO, and Accessibility compliance are also required.
The Tech Lead should have experience with web pack, grunt, gulp, Mirakl or other marketplace platforms, and PWA.
Excellent English communication skills are a must.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of Magento System Architecture, Design, Theming, Functionality Enhancements, Configuration.
Experience leading technical teams.
Strong PHP and Magento skills with an emphasis on Object Orientated Programming.
Strong experience on MYSQL DB.
Experience working on Agile methodologies.
UI/UX integration experience.
Knowledge to customize Magento Theme.
Experience in creating modules and plugins for Magento.
Good understanding of Zend framework preferable.
Full Stack skills are desirable.
Good understanding of W3C compliant HTML and CSS.
Experience in creating responsive web applications using Bootstrap.
Hand-coding JavaScript (ES5/ES6) and jQuery.
Conceptual and implementation knowledge of MVC framework.
Knowledge and integration experience with server-side communication using Ajax and JSON.
Experience developing front-end applications and solving UI issues.
Understanding of SEO and Accessibility compliance.
Ability to guide the team in all technical perspectives.
Understanding of build tools like web pack, grunt, gulp.
Exposure to Mirakl or other marketplace platforms is a huge plus.
Experience in PWA.
Excellent English communication skills.
