Description:
This is a challenging internship opportunity at Bosch Japan, where you will work for a global player and be part of a dynamic team.
You will gain practical and on-the-job experience through a mix of day-to-day operations and projects.
Your tasks will include working with marketing data related to vehicles and product applications, including data collection, handling, and monitoring data completeness in terms of coverage and quality.
You will participate in analytics and data projects that are integral to the sales and trade marketing business.
You will support the development of custom data models and algorithms.
You will prepare reports and utilize PowerBI for data visualization.
Requirements:
You must be a student of Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields.
A strong interest in business analytics is required, along with motivation and a willingness to learn.
You should possess structured and analytical thinking skills, be meticulous, and able to deep-dive into problems while presenting possible solutions.
Being a communicative, proactive, tenacious, and reliable team player is essential.
Fluent English is required, and intermediate Japanese is preferred.
Basic knowledge of data analytics processes, such as data engineering and modeling, is preferred.
Basic experience in analytics tech stacks, including statistical programming languages like R or Python, visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, and basic knowledge of SQL and data pipeline tools is a plus.
You should be able to stay for a period of 6-12 months at the company.
You must be regularly enrolled at a university during the entire internship period.
Flexibility, willingness, and motivation to live and work in a different culture are necessary.
Benefits:
The internship offers a very competitive monthly net allowance of 180,000 Yen on a full-time scheme.
Bosch will provide all necessary documents and information for a successful Designated Activities visa application, noting that the full visa process may take up to three months.
Japanese nationals do not require a visa process and may begin their internship within one month of being hired, depending on departmental needs.
Foreign nationals on a student visa with permission for part-time work do not require a visa process and may also begin their internship within one month of being hired, subject to departmental needs.
Non-Japanese nationals must meet specific eligibility criteria to obtain the Designated Activities Visa for the internship.
