Description:
The Manager, Software Engineering at AssistRx will be responsible for driving the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and developers.
They will need to have experience with short release cycles, feature toggle implementations, and continuous integration, as well as a microservice architecture and platform-based development.
The role involves improving the development process, removing impediments, contributing to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications, and coaching and mentoring leads through technical and nontechnical challenges.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field is required, along with 6+ years of experience in software development.
Experience leading a team, working knowledge of unit testing, user stories or use cases, design patterns, object-oriented software design, and advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM platform are necessary.
The ideal candidate should be a team player, have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and be a proven advocate for best practices in software design and development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
6+ years experience in software development
Experience leading a team
Experience as a technical or team lead or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of unit testing, user stories or use cases, design patterns, object-oriented software design
Desire to be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM platform
Proven advocate for best practices in software design and development
