Description:

  • The Marketing Data and Analytics Lead will be responsible for shaping marketing efforts by structuring, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to optimize strategies.
  • This role involves establishing data-driven decision-making processes and driving marketing team performance analysis to continuously improve ROI.
  • The lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations that drive growth.
  • Key responsibilities include leading the development of the marketing analytics strategy across all digital channels and overseeing the integration of marketing data from various sources such as CRM, web analytics, paid media, email campaigns, and social media.
  • The role requires ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all marketing systems and establishing KPIs to measure and track the success of marketing campaigns.
  • The lead will perform deep-dive analyses into campaign performance, identifying trends and areas for optimization, and use data-driven insights to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Responsibilities also include building complex models, conducting multivariate testing, and providing regular reporting to the CMO and executive team on marketing performance.
  • The lead will conduct cohort analysis, customer segmentation, and lifetime value analysis to guide decision-making and partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to align on business objectives.
  • The role requires serving as the go-to expert on marketing analytics for senior leadership and recommending innovative solutions for marketing automation and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in marketing data and analytics, preferably in a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
  • A strong background in measuring a product-led growth (PLG) motion and digital marketing channels is essential.
  • A proven track record of using data to drive marketing strategy and decision-making is required.
  • Experience with advanced data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, SQL, R, and Python is necessary.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, and Power BI is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • A deep understanding of customer segmentation, behavior tracking, and predictive analytics is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
