Remote Marketing Web Developer

Description:

• The Marketing Web Developer will help manage and improve the world's most trafficked education website, which is one of the top 20 most visited sites globally.
• This role involves building, configuring, and customizing Drupal sites while collaborating with various departments such as creative, content, analytics, demand generation, product marketing, and international marketing.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for Drupal and web development, with a focus on clean code and responsive design.
• Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining the Drupal web environment for Instructure and its affiliated properties, partnering with marketing stakeholders to define requirements for new page/component development, building or managing websites using Layout Builder components, working closely with web producers to ensure correct page implementation, and quickly addressing and resolving any identified bugs or defects.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of PHP development experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with open-source enterprise content management platforms such as Drupal or Joomla is required.
• Strong knowledge in both front-end and back-end development, including component and theme development, is essential.
• A deep understanding of HTML, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery is necessary.
• The candidate should be an open and effective communicator across multiple levels of an organization, with the ability to prioritize and set expectations as needed.
• Experience working across multiple levels, teams, and geographies in fast-paced and deadline-driven situations is required.
