Remote Marketing Web Developer (Vue and Typescript)

Description:

• Jackbox Games is seeking a part-time Website Developer Contractor to join their team for 30-40 hours per week over a 3-month period, with a potential extension based on workload.
• The position allows for remote work in specific states including California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin.
• The website serves as a crucial hub for marketing, providing support to players and promoting the company's catalog of party games.
• Responsibilities include developing, optimizing, and maintaining the marketing website using Vue.js and TypeScript, implementing A/B tests, optimizing SEO performance, improving site speed and accessibility, and collaborating with marketing and design teams.
• The hourly rate for this position ranges from $69 to $75.
• The contractor will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, enhancing user experience based on analytics, and staying updated with the latest trends in SEO and front-end performance.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (preferably Vue 3) and TypeScript is required.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO is necessary.
• A solid understanding of SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals optimization is essential.
• Candidates should have experience in improving conversion rates and user engagement metrics.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) is required.
• Experience in integrating and managing tracking scripts and analytics tools like Google Analytics, GTM, and Facebook Pixel is necessary.
• Familiarity with headless CMS solutions such as Contentful, Sanity, or Strapi is preferred.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using browser developer tools are required.
• Experience with Git/GitHub workflows and agile development methodologies is necessary.
• Familiarity with Nuxt.js for server-side generation (SSG) and heatmap tools like Hotjar or Crazy Egg is a plus.
• Knowledge of progressive enhancement techniques for SEO and accessibility is beneficial.
• Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools and methodologies for marketing sites is preferred.
