Description:

  • Truelogic is seeking a Media Streaming Mobile Software Engineer (iOS) to join their remote team in LATAM.
  • The role involves designing and implementing native mobile apps for iOS platforms.
  • Responsibilities include writing efficient, reliable, and maintainable code, implementing architectural improvements, user-facing features, and fixing defects.
  • The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered across various platforms.
  • Analyzing and optimizing application code for efficiency, reliability, and performance is essential.
  • The position requires working with minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support.
  • The candidate will be part of a highly collaborative team that values quality code and effective communication.
  • Staying current with the latest development best practices and leading design and code reviews are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional development experience with Swift and Swift UI is required.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated ability in developing complex, high-traffic iOS applications.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming and API layer programming is essential.
  • The applicant should have worked on a significant consumer app that is currently available in the marketplace.
  • Experience with video-on-demand and/or linear video playback is preferred.
  • The candidate must have experience developing applications that leverage backend service APIs (HTTP / REST).
  • A solid understanding of data models, data access architecture, and optimization is necessary.
  • The applicant should possess a solid understanding of multi-tier web architectures, and object-oriented design patterns and concepts.
  • Experience with unit test frameworks and continuous integration systems is required.
  • The ability to collaborate in a small, productive development team as well as the ability to work independently is essential.
  • The candidate should be an expert in software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with agile software development practices, including scrum, sprint planning, and retrospectives, is preferred.
