Remote Medior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The Medior DevOps Engineer will design infrastructure with a focus on scalability, resiliency, performance, and security aspects of products.
• The role involves choosing, deploying, and managing tools and technologies to build and support a robust infrastructure.
• The engineer will configure and manage application platforms to serve OTT WEB applications hosted on both cloud and on-premises environments.
• The position includes assisting in designing, scaling, and building an automated approach across all stages of product development.

Requirements:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields is required.
• Candidates must have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary, with a preference for AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins is required, with a preference for Bamboo and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on professional experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, and JavaScript is essential.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration is required.
• Experience with tools such as Docker and Docker-based deployments is necessary.
• Confidence in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Nomad is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of management tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible is a plus.
• Candidates must be active team players with a strong agile mindset, ready to thrive in a collaborative team environment with other strong engineers.
• A good command of written and spoken English is required.
