Description:
TriTech is seeking a "Lead Security Architect" to support a federal client, specifically the IRS.
The role requires an active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) or Public Trust Clearance for consideration.
The Lead Security Architect will serve as the key Point-of-Contact for security-related decisions and will proactively drive the remediation of security vulnerabilities based on security scanning reports.
Responsibilities include making recommendations for increasing MeF DevSecOps maturity and providing guidance related to the Portal that hosts several MeF applications.
The MeF platform is used for electronically filing returns with the IRS, providing SOA-based web services for filers and web applications for IRS users.
Primary duties include developing and extending MeF security solution architectures (25%), providing recommendations for migrating MeF to containers and the Cloud (25%), coordinating team activities for security vulnerability remediation (15%), attending meetings related to the Portal (15%), maintaining contractual deliverables (10%), providing Level of Effort estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs (5%), and recommending DevSecOps practices on MeF (5%).
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience developing security architectures for large, complex programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in leading teams of architects and/or developers is required.
Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, with at least 8+ years of experience.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience developing security architecture for applications running in the Cloud and in containers.
Experience with AWS GovCloud security solutions for at least 4+ years is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience with microservices security and architecting Spring Boot applications.
Experience enhancing Portal architectures and developing DevSecOps solutions on complex projects for at least 4+ years is necessary.
Familiarity with the Linux platform and CM tools such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM for 4+ years is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work.
A CISSP Certification is mandatory.
