The role involves influencing architecture and product roadmaps and collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements:

Candidates should have real-world experience in building complex distributed systems, preferably using Go, but other languages can be learned.
A strong focus on building resilient services that can handle varying workloads without manual intervention is essential.
Candidates must care about code quality and test infrastructure.
Comfort with debugging and exploring open source projects is necessary.
Prioritizing end-user experience and business value over technology is important.
A foundational understanding of computer science principles such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures is required, though a formal CS degree is not mandatory.
