The Responder team focuses on features that assist software engineers in the critical first ten minutes after being paged for issues.
The role involves building products that help software developers generate intelligent hypotheses about problems and quickly confirm or refute them.
As a full-stack engineer with a front-end focus, you will lead the development of user experiences that provide critical insights, streamline troubleshooting, and reduce cognitive load.
You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create actionable visualizations and workflows from complex data.
The position requires challenging assumptions, refining designs based on user feedback, and taking ownership of delivering polished user experiences.
You will work with engineers to evolve the architecture of UIs and APIs using TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
Sharing accountability with UI-focused engineers, you will build and maintain automated tests and deployment infrastructure to improve efficiency.
Mentorship of colleagues in engineering high-quality user experiences is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

You must have the ability to own projects from inception to delivery, either independently or as a technical leader of a small team.
Experience with observability tools and/or large-scale distributed systems is required to empathize with customers' challenges.
A strong curiosity and motivation to learn about deep, complex domains is essential.
You should have a habit of seeking feedback to improve your work and the ability to ask for help when needed.
A flexible and collaborative working style is important, as the team values a positive and supportive environment.
Fluency in building products with TypeScript and React is mandatory.
