Description:

  • Anchorage Digital is building an advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto.
  • The Hardware Security Module engineers are responsible for developing secure software at the core of the Anchorage Digital Platform.
  • Engineers work in cross-functional teams to support services and enhance customer experience.
  • Responsibilities include creating and maintaining shared code and libraries, improving the code base, reviewing code for security, and solving complex problems.
  • Engineers will work independently or as lead engineers to deliver features and foster a testing culture.
  • Knowledge sharing among the team is essential to avoid single points of failure.
  • Collaboration with the Core Experience team and other teams is required.
  • Mentoring engineers and communicating strategic goals is part of the role.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming is required.
  • Comprehensive experience with secure low-level C/C++ programming, kernel development/hardening, and/or embedded systems is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of common crypto algorithms, code signing, network security, and the threat landscape is essential.
  • Real-world experience in shipping products and implementing secure frameworks, libraries, and services is expected.
  • A strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure is important.
  • Prioritizing end-user experience and business value over technology is crucial.
  • Candidates should be creative, humble, ambitious, detail-oriented, hardworking, trustworthy, eager to learn, methodical, action-oriented, and tenacious.
  • Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules, particularly Thales, is a bonus.
  • Interest in cryptography and staying updated on crypto asset innovations is preferred.
  • A background in the finance industry is advantageous.
