• The Security Team maintains a culture of trust, safety, and resiliency for clients and regulators.
• The role focuses on monitoring, establishing baselines of behavior for products and IT infrastructure, and investigating anomalies.
• The position involves delivering medium-to-large impact projects and prioritizing roadmap projects as the company scales.
• Responsibilities include enhancing the Monitoring & Testing program, automating manual tasks, and leading Security Team initiatives.
• The role requires collaboration with engineering teams to ensure effective remediation and contribute high-quality code and infrastructure.
• The candidate will participate in planning and defining the Security Team's strategic goals and monitor company objectives that impact success.
• Communication and mentoring of engineers are essential to help them understand security's impact on strategic goals.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have real-world experience in security fundamentals, including security logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, secure coding practices, and cryptography.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs, as well as mobile development with iOS applications and Swift is required.
• Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, Qradar, and security tools such as Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP is necessary.
• A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures, is expected.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks like OWASP, NIST, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS is preferred.
• Candidates should prioritize code quality and end-user experience over technology novelty.
