Description:

Anchorage Digital is seeking a Member of the Technical Staff in Security Engineering, specializing in Cryptography, to join their remote team.
The role involves building a secure digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto through various services including custody, staking, trading, and governance.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of modern cryptography, secure coding expertise, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing secure code for cryptographic controls, reviewing code for security issues, and fostering a testing culture.
The position requires building robust components for asset and data security, maintaining threat models, and leading security initiatives with minimal oversight.
The candidate will also need to communicate complex cryptographic concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

A strong foundation in applied cryptography, including symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing algorithms, and digital signatures is essential.
Experience in security architecture and implementation, particularly with Golang, C++, and Python, is required.
Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for secure key management is preferred.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication and OAuth 2.0, is necessary.
Ability to identify and assess potential threats to systems and applications, prioritizing mitigation strategies is crucial.
Candidates should possess computer science fundamentals such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
