Remote Microsoft DevOps Engineer

• The position is for a Microsoft DevOps Engineer skilled in Microsoft technologies, requiring a minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience.
• Candidates should have experience planning and managing web-enabled databases for public-facing and interactive websites in a large enterprise, with media or retail application experience being helpful.
• The role involves managing all website technical upgrades and integrations, meeting deadlines, and working independently with minimal supervision.

• This is a Work-from-Home position with no travel required.
• Responsibilities include managing Windows application environments, extensive experience with traditional Windows/IIS server environments, and working with WAF environments.
• The engineer will architect, implement, deploy, and manage complex application solutions, ensuring compliance with security protocols and policies.
• Engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, JavaScript, and Powershell is necessary.
• The role also involves writing unit tests, performance, and load test scripts, managing resources for dev/UAT/prod instances, and automating manual processes.
• The engineer will serve as the point of contact for client services, manage access to code repositories (Git), and provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems.
• Administration and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus, and the candidate should be a team player with experience working collaboratively on cross-discipline, multi-functional teams.
• The work schedule includes an 8-hour shift, day shift from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities and weekends as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT is required.
• Candidates must have experience working with WAF environments.
• The ability to architect, implement, deploy, and manage complex application solutions that meet the evolving requirements and policies of hosting and IT partners is essential.
• Experience managing dev/UAT/Prod environments is necessary.
• Candidates must ensure that application and server environments comply with all security protocols and policies (CA2) and remediate any documented issues within the expected timeframe.
• Engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, and Powershell is required.
• Experience with writing unit tests, performance, and load test scripts is necessary.
• Candidates must have experience working with Microsoft Technologies.
• A minimum of 3 years working on a website application involving an enterprise CMS integration is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of system administration experience is also necessary.
