The position is for a Microsoft DevOps Engineer skilled in Microsoft technologies, requiring a minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience.
Candidates should have experience planning and managing web-enabled databases for public-facing and interactive websites in a large enterprise, with media or retail application experience being helpful.
The role involves managing all website technical upgrades and integrations, meeting deadlines, and working independently with minimal supervision.
A proven track record is required, and references must confirm the candidate's skills.
This is a Work-from-Home position with no travel required.
Responsibilities include managing Windows application environments, extensive experience with traditional Windows/IIS server environments, and working with WAF environments.
The engineer will architect, implement, deploy, and manage complex application solutions, ensuring compliance with security protocols and policies.
Engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, JavaScript, and Powershell is necessary.
The role also involves writing unit tests, performance, and load test scripts, managing resources for dev/UAT/prod instances, and automating manual processes.
The engineer will serve as the point of contact for client services, manage access to code repositories (Git), and provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems.
Administration and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus, and the candidate should be a team player with experience working collaboratively on cross-discipline, multi-functional teams.
The work schedule includes an 8-hour shift, day shift from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT is required.
Candidates must have experience working with WAF environments.
The ability to architect, implement, deploy, and manage complex application solutions that meet the evolving requirements and policies of hosting and IT partners is essential.
Experience managing dev/UAT/Prod environments is necessary.
Candidates must ensure that application and server environments comply with all security protocols and policies (CA2) and remediate any documented issues within the expected timeframe.
Engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, and Powershell is required.
Experience with writing unit tests, performance, and load test scripts is necessary.
Candidates must have experience working with Microsoft Technologies.
A minimum of 3 years working on a website application involving an enterprise CMS integration is required.
A minimum of 3 years of system administration experience is also necessary.
