Remote Microsoft Identity & Devices Security Architect - Client Consulting

Description:

• The position is for a Microsoft Identity and Devices Security Architect at Cyclotron, which is fully remote and available to candidates anywhere in North America.
• This is a full-time employment opportunity for experienced or senior-level professionals.
• The salary range for this role is between $130,000 and $180,000, depending on the candidate's experience level.
• The Security Architect will be responsible for architecting, designing, and executing enterprise deployments of Microsoft 365 Identity and Device Management tools, including Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Intune.
• The role involves working directly with Cyclotron clients to design and deploy solutions that enhance the protection of Microsoft-based assets in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• The candidate will utilize various approaches to improve cloud, network, and endpoint security posture across Microsoft ecosystems, including Azure and Windows.
• Responsibilities include driving discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment, and support of Microsoft cloud and on-premises security capabilities.
• The architect will collaborate with different business units within Cyclotron to provide a comprehensive approach that integrates identity and device management with threat protection and compliance.
• The role also involves contributing to the development of new Identity and Device Management services offered by Cyclotron and engaging with teams to share information that enhances processes and security posture.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and skills with Microsoft cloud security solutions and services, including Windows 365 Cloud PC, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, SSO, and Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
• Strong experience with on-premises Microsoft security solutions, such as Windows 10, Windows Server, and Active Directory, is required, along with familiarity with third-party solutions for protecting Microsoft hosts.
• Bonus experience includes familiarity with competitive security tools like Jamf, Meraki, Soti, XenMobile, Workspace ONE, Okta, and PingFederate.
• Experience in migrating on-premises Active Directory services to Cloud Native architecture is preferred.
• Candidates should have experience migrating third-party IDPs to Entra ID, such as Okta, Ping Federate, or SailPoint.
• Holding a Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
• Candidates with a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification will be favored.
• Security Operations (SecOps) experience with Microsoft Defender XDR is also beneficial.
• A sanitized example deliverable showcasing the quality of written work is required, which can be a public blog, documentation, or similar, adhering to confidentiality requirements.
