Description:

  • A Microsoft-centric Managed Services Provider is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Security Architect to design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions for clients.
  • The role involves leveraging Microsoft technologies such as Defender, Sentinel, Azure Lighthouse, and Azure Security Center to provide comprehensive security strategies, proactive threat management, and robust incident response for multi-tenant environments.
  • Responsibilities include developing and executing security strategies tailored to client needs, acting as the primary advisor on security best practices, and providing security assessments.
  • The architect will implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud across client environments.
  • The role also includes overseeing the deployment and management of Microsoft Sentinel for client threat detection and response, and automating security event responses.
  • The architect will lead incident response processes for client security breaches, conduct root cause analysis, and provide ongoing threat monitoring and resolution.
  • Designing and implementing security architectures based on Azure Security best practices and optimizing multi-tenant security management using Azure Lighthouse are also key responsibilities.
  • The position requires training client teams on Microsoft security tools and conducting security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on delivering services to external clients.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and Azure Lighthouse is essential.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate or Cybersecurity Architect Expert are required.
  • Proven experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar client-focused environment is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of multi-tenant management and automation within Microsoft environments is required.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills are essential for this role.
