Remote Microsoft Security Architect - Client Consulting

Description:

• The position is for a Microsoft Threat Protection Security Architect at Cyclotron, which is fully remote and available to candidates anywhere in North America.
• The role involves architecting, designing, and executing enterprise deployments of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel, along with other Microsoft security solutions.
• Responsibilities include working directly with customer teams to drive discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment, and support of Microsoft cloud and on-premises security capabilities.
• The architect will be the subject matter expert, helping clients improve the protection of Microsoft-based assets in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented and client-focused, capable of generating and executing technical designs based on client requirements.
• The role also requires collaboration across Cyclotron business units to provide a holistic approach to security, contributing to the development of new Threat Protection and SIEM services.
• Engagement with other teams to share information and improve processes and security posture is also expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and skill with Microsoft cloud security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong experience with KQL queries, Attack Simulation services, and on-premises Microsoft security solutions is required.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills and experience in leading technical discussions, providing guidance, and resolving technical challenges.
• Technical writing experience is also necessary.
• Bonus experience includes familiarity with competitive security tools, Microsoft Intune, and migration of third-party email security applications.
• Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate, and/or CISSP or CISM certifications.
• Security Operations experience with Microsoft Defender XDR is preferred.

Benefits:

• The position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $200,000, depending on experience level.
