Remote Microsoft Security Architect - Client Consulting

Description:

• The position is for a Microsoft Threat Protection Security Architect at Cyclotron, which is a remote role based in the UK.
• This is a contracted position with the potential to convert to a full-time employee.
• The role involves architecting, designing, and executing enterprise deployments of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel, along with other Microsoft security solutions.
• The Security Architect will serve as a subject matter expert, working with clients to enhance the protection of Microsoft-based assets in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Responsibilities include driving discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment, and support of Microsoft security capabilities.
• The role requires collaboration across business units to provide a comprehensive approach to threat protection, identity, compliance, and more.
• The architect will also contribute to the development of new Threat Protection and SIEM services offered by Cyclotron and engage with teams to improve processes and security posture.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and skills with Microsoft cloud security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong experience with KQL queries, Attack Simulation services, and on-premises Microsoft security solutions is required.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills and experience in leading technical discussions and providing guidance in resolving technical challenges.
• Technical writing experience is also necessary.
• Bonus experience includes familiarity with competitive security tools, Microsoft Intune, and migration of third-party email security applications.
• Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate, and/or CISSP or CISM.
• Security Operations experience with Microsoft Defender XDR is preferred.
