The position is for a Mid Back-end Engineer specializing in Node.js, available in Warsaw or remotely.

The role involves implementing backends and their interactions with various data stores and APIs, including third-party APIs.
The engineer will work in an agile environment on impactful projects for the business.
Responsibilities include supporting reliable databases and APIs for real-time automated decision-making and deploying software using industry-standard tools like Kubernetes and Lambda functions.
The candidate will prioritize security in all tasks and implement robust automated test suites to ensure high quality and low failure rates of delivered code.
The role requires working in a DevOps style to adhere to Defense in Depth principles and ensure container security.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
A good practical knowledge of at least one relational database system, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, is required.
The ability to engage in discussions and decisions regarding software design and architecture is essential.
Experience in implementing the test pyramid, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, is necessary.
Candidates should utilize good security practices effectively.
A good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
The candidate should show readiness to learn and expand their skill set as required by ongoing projects.
Availability in the afternoons is necessary due to collaboration with the United States, with evening meetings potentially occurring.

The salary ranges from 22,000 to 26,000 PLN plus VAT on B2B or equivalent on a contract of employment.
