Remote Mid-DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient code building, testing, and deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure for optimal resource utilization and cost management.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system reliability issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for automation and infrastructure enhancements.
• Participate in incident response activities and post-mortem analyses for system improvements.
• Maintain documentation for processes, systems, and operations to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance existing processes.
• Assist in onboarding new applications and ensure adherence to DevOps best practices.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., DataDog, Domo) for performance metrics.
• Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for delivering high-quality software.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
