Remote Mid Fullstack Dev (RoR / JS)

Description:

• Zipdev is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join their team.
• The role requires expertise in SQL, JavaScript, and Rails/Ruby to contribute to a strategic initiative aimed at modernizing and streamlining the technology stack.
• The selected candidate will play a crucial role in replacing legacy EHR integrations, improving operational efficiency, reducing integration dependencies, and supporting over 1,000 clients.
• The work will directly impact the elimination of 40+ outdated integrations.
• Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Rails/Ruby and JavaScript.
• The developer will need to understand, design, and write complex SQL queries across different SQL dialects to support data migration, system integration, and application functionality.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to replace legacy EHR integration technologies with modern solutions such as Rails and Golang.
• The role involves ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, optimizing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability, and troubleshooting technical issues in both legacy and modern systems.
• Documentation of processes, code, and system configurations for future reference is also required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4 to 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript for back-end development is required.
• Solid experience with Rails/Ruby frameworks for building robust and scalable integrations is necessary.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, screen scraping, and data migration processes is essential.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience working with multiple SQL dialects and writing complex queries, is required.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
• Candidates must have excellent communication skills in English.
• Applicants should currently be living in Latin America.
