Description:

As a Backend Engineer, you will work on various products, including websites and enterprise platforms.
You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for building the engine that powers the entire product.
Key responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying backend services and APIs, collaborating with product and frontend teams, and taking ownership of backend modules.
You will perform code reviews, debug production issues, maintain database queries, and write technical documentation.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in at least one backend stack, such as PHP (Laravel, Symfony), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET (ASP.NET Core).
A strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns is required.
Experience with backend system architecture and microservices is essential.
Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and knowledge of API development and security best practices (OAuth2, JWT) is necessary.
Proficiency in Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) is required.
Understanding of performance optimization techniques and experience with version control systems like Git is needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking are essential.
Ability to mentor junior developers and provide constructive code reviews is required.
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are necessary.
An ownership mindset with a focus on delivering quality and scalable solutions is expected.
A proactive approach to identifying areas for process improvement is important.
Nice to have: experience with microservices architecture, exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, basic knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and understanding of distributed systems.
