• Wellhub, formerly Gympass, is seeking a Mid-level Backend Software Engineer to join their Data Platform team in Brazil.
• The Data Platform Team focuses on building and maintaining system components to support data engineers and analysts in achieving their business goals.
• The team leverages AWS cloud infrastructure, open-source, and in-house software to ensure self-service, cost-effective, and secure data solutions.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with Python, Java, or similar languages (preferably Python and Java).
• Proficiency in relational databases and solid SQL skills (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, or similar tools.
• Understanding of distributed systems, data-intensive applications, and analytical data warehouses.
• Genuine interest in big data applications and technology trends.
