Description:

The position is for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer at ManpowerGroup Greece, working fully remotely from anywhere in Greece.
The role involves collaborating with a skilled IT Operations Team to build and operate a robust Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform.
Responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and optimizing cloud operations processes, designing and deploying automation tools, and managing CI/CD procedures using Azure DevOps.
The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments, ensure system performance and reliability, and implement security requirements.
The role requires participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support production issues or SLAs.

Requirements:

A BSc/MSc degree in an information technology field or equivalent education and work experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a hands-on DevOps Engineer.
A minimum of 2 years of working experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms (Google Cloud or AWS) is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration is essential.
Familiarity with observability tools like ElasticSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Kibana is required.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools like Ansible or Chef is needed.
A solid background in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server administration and troubleshooting is expected.
Exposure to security standards and practices in cloud environments is important.
Candidates should possess a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills are mandatory.
