Description:

  • The Mid Level DevOps Engineer position at Outliant is a full-time, remote role where you will collaborate with a team of developers to create and implement software applications and components.
  • You will be responsible for managing the infrastructure required for software development, deployment, and testing.
  • Tasks include configuring and maintaining servers, databases, networking, and storage systems, monitoring system health and performance, and establishing proper logging practices.
  • You will work closely with development teams to help them deploy code faster and more efficiently, implement and maintain a CI/CD pipeline, automate repetitive tasks, and manage the version control system.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its services (S3, Cloudfront, ECS, ECR, Lambda).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CICD pipelines using AWS technologies.
  • Experience working with Agile Teams, great documentation and communication skills, and AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
  • Fundamental knowledge or experience of Infrastructure as Service (IaaS) like CloudFormation and experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experience in web development, preferably in JavaScript, and full-time availability (40 hours/week).
  • A personal computer with stable internet.
