Remote Mid Level Front End Developer at Byway

Description:

Develop and enhance user experience on websites and apps, including tools for JourneyAI technology
Collaborate with talented developers to create code and features for seamless user experience
Participate in product development process, testing features and iterating based on user feedback
Implement user-centric features focusing on usability, performance, and scalability
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create dynamic journey-based features
Maintain best practices for front-end development, code quality, testing, and deployment processes
Work closely with stakeholders to align front-end development with business objectives and user needs
Improve performance and accessibility of sites and applications for all users

Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js and Next.js, and deep understanding of HTML, CSS
Proficiency in writing Jest and Playwright tests
Strong front-end skills for mobile-first development and responsive components
Experience with JSON/REST APIs and authentication/authorization systems
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Portfolio demonstrating ability to design and build high-quality web interfaces
Passion for sustainable travel and alignment with company mission
Nice to have: experience with travel and hospitality systems, DevOps, agile processes, accessibility standards, and mobile app development

Salary range £48,000 - £65,000 p.a. depending on experience
