Description:

This developer position is for a project that performs Agile software development for systems that support our client’s mission.
The role involves software development from the requirements gathering phase through coding and testing.
Responsibilities include researching issues in existing code and finding solutions, preparing ad hoc reports, and communicating status including issues and risks to the team.
The developer will collaborate with team members to reach problem resolution and learn new skill sets on the job.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
Candidates must have experience as a full-stack application developer.
A minimum of 3-5 years of directly related professional experience supporting systems in multiple languages and frameworks is necessary.
Experience with React UI or related UI frameworks such as Angular is required.
Candidates should have experience with AWS Cloud Tools, including AWS Lambda and EventBridge.
Proficiency in Node.js is essential.
The ability to understand complex business processes and their relation to the systems supporting them is required.
Candidates must be able to research problems, identify root causes, and recommend and implement solutions.
An aptitude for quickly picking up technology along with a desire to learn and progress is necessary.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
The ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote environment.
A passion for solving complex software challenges and enjoying collaboration on a team is required.
