Remote Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (USD 3K/month)

Description:

• This is a remote opportunity for a Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer, available only to candidates in Latin America.
• The role involves architecting and developing end-to-end solutions that integrate advanced technologies to improve data management, analysis, and communication in the life sciences sector.
• Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications tailored to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, ensuring seamless data management and analytical tool integration.
• The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• The position requires architecting and implementing secure systems that comply with industry regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• The engineer will optimize user experiences and create intuitive interfaces for data visualization and reporting.
• Additional duties include performing testing, debugging, and code reviews, staying updated with emerging technologies, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and engaging with clients to gather requirements and present solutions.
• Documentation of technical architectures and project specifications is also part of the role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• Extensive proficiency in modern full stack development technologies, including JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular), Python, SQL, and RESTful API design is essential.
• A proven track record of delivering complex software solutions in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of data security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and experience in implementing security measures is required.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Expertise in designing user-friendly interfaces for data visualization and analysis is needed.
• A solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in deploying applications in cloud environments is required.
