Hightouch’s mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data by pioneering the Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP).
The platform helps companies use their own data warehouse to collect, prepare, and activate customer data for marketing personalization and business operations.
The role involves working closely with big-name companies to solve their toughest problems and teaching people about technical concepts.
The Commercial Solutions Engineer will join a team of talented solutions engineers focused on understanding customer problems and innovating data usage.
The position requires partnering with Account Executives to remove technical and business-related obstacles in front of a sale.
Responsibilities include advocating for customer interests, creating compelling technical content, and providing solutions for challenges in customer data strategy and architecture.
Solutions Engineers will work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to craft creative technical solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of sales experience, with at least 1+ years focused on mid-market companies.
Strong discovery and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Candidates should demonstrate intellectual curiosity, high ambition, and humility.
Experience in selling Martech and/or Data Solutions is required.
Familiarity with Cloud Warehouses, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Modeling, and APIs is necessary.
Bonus points for candidates with experience in Customer Data Platforms.

The salary range for this position is $160,000-$200,000 (70/30 split variable) USD per year.
The position is location independent in accordance with Hightouch's remote-first policy.
