Description:

• The Backend guild is responsible for maintaining a stable, reliable, and fast cloud for data storage, ensuring secure data synchronization between all NordPass applications and web-based systems.
• The team works on encrypting, handling, and synchronizing data between frontend applications and the cloud through a background application on clients' computers.
• Collaboration within the team is based on democracy, where everyone's experience, suggestions, and ideas are discussed to achieve the best results and maintain code quality.
• The role involves writing clear, tested, and documented code that adds real business value, creating useful APIs, delivering quality code-based solutions, contributing to technical decisions, and participating in technical tasks and interviews.
• The current focus areas include Passkeys, a new Passwordless SaaS product, and general user experience improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with PHP.
• Understanding of OOP principles and good code design.
• Previous experience in building highly scalable systems.
• Knowledge of API design.
• Proficiency in MySQL and experience with handling big data quantities.
• Bonus points for knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
