Remote Mid-Senior PHP Engineer (Web team)

Description:

• The Backend department at NordLayer uses modern and innovative technologies to create world-leading cybersecurity products.
• The main responsibilities include writing clear, tested, and documented code that delivers real business value.
• The role involves creating APIs that developers (both internally and externally) want to use.
• The engineer will work with the core team to deliver quality code-based solutions.
• Current projects include building and maintaining existing APIs and backend solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 4+ years of experience working with PHP.
• A strong understanding of OOP principles and good code design is required.
• Previous experience in building highly scalable systems is necessary.
• Knowledge of API design is essential.
• Good (My)SQL knowledge and experience with large data quantities are required.
• Familiarity with Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis is a plus.
• Experience working with Git is expected.
