Description:

The position is for a Mid Software Engineer specializing in Node.js and AWS, based in Moldova, with a full-time remote work option.
The role involves collaborating with industry leaders to drive transformative projects in various sectors, including urban living, media, and healthcare.
Responsibilities include facilitating communication with client stakeholders, crafting high-quality client code, participating in project planning and estimation, gathering requirements, and executing complex activities within established methodologies.
The engineer will promote client success by collaborating with team members to understand user pain points and iterating on solutions.
Engagement in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning, is expected.
The role also includes mentoring other engineers and supporting the growth of technical capabilities within the Engineering Practice community.
The engineer will independently drive project delivery from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Proficiency in utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or RDS is required.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies is essential.
Candidates should have expertise in Object-Oriented Programming principles and high-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
A good understanding of SOLID principles and familiarity with OWASP is necessary.
Proficiency in English is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Additional desired experience includes familiarity with modern frontend build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Candidates should have experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
