Description:

The position is for a Mid Software Engineer specializing in Node.js and AWS, based in Romania, with a remote work option.
The role involves collaborating with industry leaders on transformative projects that impact urban living, media channels for enterprises, and healthcare innovation.
Responsibilities include facilitating communication with client stakeholders, crafting high-quality client code, participating in project planning and estimation, gathering requirements, and presenting developed features.
The engineer will execute complex activities within established methodologies and quality standards, promote client success through collaboration, engage in agile software development practices, and mentor others in the Engineering Practice community.
The engineer will independently drive project delivery from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Proficiency in utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or RDS is required.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies and Object-Oriented Programming principles is essential.
Candidates should have high-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate and experience in creating well-tested, scalable enterprise-level systems.
A good understanding of SOLID principles and familiarity with OWASP is necessary.
Proficiency in English is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Additional desired experience includes familiarity with modern frontend build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
