Description:

  • The position is for a Mid to Senior DevOps Engineer, fully remote, specifically for candidates based in Latin America.
  • The role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using the Azure stack.
  • Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure smooth delivery of code.
  • The engineer will monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for efficiency.
  • The role requires implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
  • Collaboration with development and operations teams to streamline workflows is essential.
  • The engineer must ensure security and compliance standards are met across all infrastructure.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of learning and growth is also part of the job.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 2+ years working with Azure.
  • Expertise in Azure services such as AKS, App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL is required.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar is necessary.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates is essential.
  • Candidates should be skilled in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • A strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is required.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana is necessary.
  • Experience in implementing and managing secure cloud environments is essential.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring others are essential soft skills.
