PetLab Co. is seeking a Mid-weight Python Engineer to join their remote team in the UK.

The role involves working on a platform transformation, moving from a monolithic legacy tech stack to Python and microservices.
The engineer will report to the Lead Software Engineer and collaborate with a small team of talented engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as an engineer with backend technologies such as Python and SQL.
Experience in building quality and highly scalable backend systems is required.
A strong understanding of programming languages and paradigms is essential.
The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build authentic relationships are necessary.
Additional experience with IAC, Microservices, API Gateway, Lambda, Terraform, and AWS Cloud is advantageous.
